Branding for Tiffin Asha, a new South Indian snack food cart in Portland. The lettering, colors, and bold style were inspired by Indian matchboxes. Overall, we wanted the aesthetic to be a unique and playful twist on traditional Indian designs.
Not only was it a lot of fun working on this project, their food is absolutely delicious! Bonus. Learn more about them here.

Tiffin Asha blends and packages a dry spice they like to call Gun Powder. Also known as podi, these ground spice mixtures are typically made of dried chilis, lentils, and various spices, then stirred with oil to create a dipping sauce. I illustrated four fun "explosive!" labels to use on packages.
